Private Chef Ruben’s passion for food started while he was growing up in Curacao when food was an important part of family gatherings. His grandmother showed him the ropes from when he was just a boy.
He studied Culinary Arts and at the age of 25 Chef Ruben started his own Private Chef business. His cooking style is considered international mixed with the authentic Arubian cuisine that he loves so much. The local ingredients influenced by flavors and cooking styles from all over the world create surprising combinations of tastes and textures.
Ruben gets inspired when he goes shopping for fresh local produce, seafood, and typical Aruban spices. Chef Ruben can prepare anything you like, from a true Caribbean BBQ, breakfast or brunch, to fancy 3-course dinners. Are you planning a beach day or boat tour?
